Fun Facts
Photography is one of my favorite hobbies ever. Recently, I have only been taking film photography, so that includes polaroids. I am constantly having photo shoots with my friends or wandering around town trying to find a good shot. I have a total of ten pets, five cats and five dogs. I have lived in three different states, Florida being the third one. I enjoy live music and dancing. Hopefully one day I can go to every big music festival.
About Me
I am a student at miami-dade-college">Miami Dade College, transferred from Louisiana State University. I graduated high school at Lakeshore High in Mandeville, Louisiana. I am an education major, specifying in elementary education. Ultimately I would like to be able to teach K-12 in another country and incorporate my photography in teaching, like photojournalism.
Experience
I was a member of the National Honors Society in high school and from there I began helping elementary students with their work after school. That later on changed to helping neighborhood kids from elementary to high school after my first year of college at LSU. This is my first time with Frog Tutoring, but I hope that this will help give me the experience and patience that I will need later on in the world of education and I hope to inspire kids at a young age.
Approach
Throughout the years of my schooling, I realized that in high school I was the type of student that had to work a little bit harder just to understand the material in class. School was not always easy for me like the other kids in my honors classes that never really had to study as much as I did. But there were those special teachers who really encouraged me to work hard to achieve what I wanted and because of them I truly realized my fullest potential.

Education
French I Tutoring
I will be taking French as a minor. I recently took French Fall 2014. I know how to speak Tagalog and some Spanish, which helps a lot in French. I am constantly practicing my writing and speaking in French.
Homework Coach Tutoring
Homework and practicing the material learned in school is vital. I enjoy encouraging students to do their homework. I have no problem doing what ever it takes to help motivate the student to get the job done.
Arts Tutoring
I have been involved in the arts for as long as I could remember. I was in band and played the saxophone for eight years. I also know the basics and fundamentals for photography.
History Tutoring
History was always interesting to me. I do have books from middle school to help reference me, but also ways to help study important events and dates.
Middle School Math Tutoring
Math is one of my favorite subjects, especially math in the younger levels. I have only had to take up to college algebra, but I am more than willing to refresh my memory with anything new in the math word.
Science Tutoring
I found science the most interesting when I got to middle school, though it can be a tough subject, I can help the student better understand the material that may may be having trouble with.
Study Skills Tutoring
I enjoy helping students find ways to make studying easier for them. Whether it be flash cards to quick quizzes, you name it and I can help.
English Tutoring
English can be both an easy and tough subject, depending on the student. But I have a love for English that I am excited to share with fellow students and ways to show them how fun English can be.
Elementary Math Tutoring
Math is one of my favorite subjects and I am more than willing to help the student find helpful ways to make math easier for them.
Social Studies Tutoring
Basic social studies at an elementary school level would not give me any problems. I am willing to refresh my memory due to any criteria.
Writing Tutoring
Aside from majoring in education, I do enjoy writing a lot. Mostly photo journalism. Elementary level writing does not hinder me at all. I would be more than happy to help any elementary student!
Saxophone Tutoring
I have been playing the saxophone for ten plus years now. I know how to read music and compose music as well.
Study Skills Tutoring
I have very many useful study skills that I am more than happy to share with students. Also, finding new ways to make school work better to understand for the students are very important.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I used to baby sit kids from the ages of 6 months to six years. The age group that began to read, 2 to 6 six years, I always read books to and helped the children pronounce different words that they may have had difficulty with.
