I am a graduate from The University of Georgia (08') and moved to New York shortly after. As my Mother is a teacher, I have chosen to follow her path of helping students. I also have an identical twin brother who lives in Brooklyn. If you see someone who likes like me, you may only have a 50% that it is in fact me.

About Me

My goal with each student is to have a student become more confident in themselves, as well as the material, in order to succeed in their academic career. I aspire to instill specialized techniques and methods to fit the needs of a student. By advancing a student’s familiarity in coursework, I aim to ease the student into the continuation of their academic life (middle school, high school, or college).

I have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in a variety of subjects. Previously, I was a brooklyn">tutor with Champion Learning Center, providing educational assistance to middle and high school pupils. Whether it is Regents preparation (math, history/government, science etc.), homework help, or college guidance (scholarship opportunities, college essays, financial opportunities), I adjust to a student’s needs. As my Mother has been a long-time Teacher, I have always admired the impact that she has made on her students. I look forward to continue making a similar long-term difference on the students I brooklyn">tutor.

My brooklyn">tutoring approach consists of involving the student as much as possible, in a myriad of ways. I initially assess a client’s strengths & weaknesses, through a series of oral/written questions and a pre-quiz. Furthermore, I have students explain to me how they concluded a specific answer. When a student explains an answer in their own words, a deep learning environment is created. This method allows for a student to point out their own mistakes, as well as cement reasons why their answer is correct.
