Since graduating, I have been working as a middle school Latin teacher, dorm parent and athletic coach in Western Massachusetts. I want to continue working in a school setting as a guidance counselor after getting my Masters degree.
I have been boston">tutoring and working in education since high school. I began in a peer-boston">tutoring program at my high school, then went on to work as an Education intern at the New England Aquarium during the summer in high school, and then worked as a mentor and advisor for Upward Bound during college. I have loved education and teaching so much over the years that I am thrilled to continue boston">tutoring while I pursue graduate school.
My approach in boston">tutoring and mentoring is to empower my students to challenge themselves and be their best. Putting subject matter into the context overall education and making connections between disciplines is also a major facet of my approach.
