Fun Facts

I love sports and art, especially fencing, painting, and drawing. If I'm not working or studying, I'm either working on a new piece or working out to improve my fencing skills. They're therapeutic and great fun as well! I'm easy-going and like meeting new people and making new friends. I grew up in New Jersey where I spent most of my childhood reading, drawing, and playing with my younger brother and schoolmates.

About Me

I am currently a sophomore studying science/new-york/brooklyn">computer science at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU, located in Brooklyn, NY. By the end of my sophomore year, I hope to enter the BS/MS program and earn my BS in science/new-york/brooklyn">computer science and MS in financial engineering when I graduate with my peers. I love studying science/new-york/brooklyn">computer science in addition to mathematics and physics at NYU-Poly.

Primarily I love to help others whenever they ask me for help, especially in math, physics, and science/new-york/brooklyn">computer science. Throughout my college career I have helped students informally through group study sessions and one-on-one study sessions wherein I would help find practice problems, go through concepts and formulas, and work through past exams and sample exams. I want to share with other students my love for math and physics and the beauty of the equations and concepts that govern our physical world.

I've worked with brooklyn">tutors before and I've helped my fellow peers with their questions and I've noticed that the best way for someone to understand concepts is with a gentle, guiding hand. A brooklyn">tutor helps a student come to the solution, but ultimately, the student should have an epiphany if helped correctly. Such moments when formulas and ideas make sense are wonderful moments and I want to help others have that experience. Giving solutions does not yield such moments, but practice and a helpful mentor/teacher/peer certainly does!
