Fun Facts
Ever since I started attending UCSD, I have been habitually surfing at La Jolla Shores and Scripps Beach. I absolutely love the experience I have had with surfing while living in La Jolla and will definitely be trying to stay as close to the beach for as long as possible.
For the past three years, I have been practicing meditation. It has greatly helped me stay focused on my goals and stay in the present.
About Me
I am a junior at the University of California, San Diego majoring in Physiology and Neuroscience. I currently work as a College Ambassador for the university where I work in the Campus Tours and Admissions Office, and I am also going to be this years President for the Student Society for Medical Ethics here at UCSD. After I graduate, I plan on attending medical school and becoming a neurologist, allowing me to focus on helping patients with mental and neurodegenerative diseases.
Experience
As a member of UCSD's Bioscholars, I have a extensive background in the biological sciences and also have a strong interest in chemistry. I am also a part of a STEM Outreach Program through the Bioscholars where I have been able to teach high school students on how to read scientific research papers.
Approach
I was never the strongest high school student and had difficulty focusing on my homework and classes. In college, I have turned myself around and have strengthened my work ethic and discipline which has greatly helped me in my classes. I have restructured my study habits and it has been working out very effectively in my classes.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I recently took Human Physiology 1 last year and recieved an A in the course. It was one of the most difficult and rewarding classes that I have taken so far, and I greatly enjoyed the material. Phyiology is very applicable to me and is relevant with my major.
