Fun Facts

I rescued an 8 year-old Weimaraner named Gracie two years ago. I love taking her to the dog park and on hikes on the weekends!

About Me

I recently graduated from Seattle University School of Law and passed the Washington State Bar Exam. I received my BA from Willamette University and majored in Spanish. Prior to law school, I worked as a bilingual legal assistant and spoke and wrote Spanish daily. I will begin working as an attorney this spring, but until then I am working as a tutor. I primarily tutor in Spanish, Writing, Reading Comprehension, LSAT, and Bar Exam Prep.

Experience

I have worked as an intern trial attorney over the last year. In order to be an effective trial attorney, you have to explain complex legal topics to a jury that is unfamiliar with the law. We often say that as an attorney, the courtroom is your classroom and you are the teacher. My work as a trial lawyer has helped me become a good teacher, and I am excited to use those skills as a tutor.

Approach

Until law school, I always excelled academically. When I got to law school, getting an A became an entirely new challenge. Without the help of some fantastic tutors, I wouldn't have learned how to take law school exams effectively or truly grasp the complex legal concepts. My tutors were patient, thorough, and dedicated. As a result of tutoring, I was able to graduate in the top of my class from law school. My law school tutors inspire me to help students excel through patience and dedication.
