Middle school was sort of a good time for me. Academically that is! During this time I started participating in AVID (Advancement Via Independent Determination). In this group we worked in study groups were everyone could ask questions about topics they did not quite understand. Math was my subject back then! It shocked me, but all of my classmates would feel confident enough with me to ask for my help. Shocked and astounded, but yet intrigued!

Surprisingly, I loved math when I was in elementary. I think it was mainly due the fact that my teacher would always use food whenever we'd solve problems!
