Once, I asked a question to my student about her but she understood it was about me, so we kept for few seconds figuring out who was it about.. at that moment that was funny because we would look to one another and say "you", "me"? till we get it well understood who was the question about.

About Me

: I graduated on Law School in Brazil, worked on my carrier for 4 years. Then moved to Canada where I improved my English. When returned to Brazil, I started private tutoring English. After 10 years living again in Brazil, moved to USA and for the last 2 years, I have private tutoring Portuguese.

Experience

I feel honored to participate of someone's life, helping them to achieve their goal on learning a new language. Tutoring is a pleasure for me.

Approach

: Depending on the student's level of knowledge in the language, I can decide what will be my approach. I give importance to Grammar because without knowing the language's structure, it's not possible to understand how the language works therefore speak it correctly. Vocabulary is also important and there are many ways to improve it along the learning process - through texts, through music and stimulating the student to talk and practice the new language.
