Fun Facts

My favorite color is lime green, but I love anything brightly colored! I can't go anywhere without my iPod; I have over 1,800 songs. I love all types of music from Michael Jackson to Carrie Underwood to Disney classics! I've taken dance class since I was 3 years old and can't imagine my life without dance! My favorite food in the whole entire universe is chocolate... I don't think I go a day without sneaking a least a little bit :)

About Me

Hi, Im Giana! I'm from Mount Prospect, Illinois which is a suburb of Chicago. I'm a sophomore year at Butler University studying Actuary Science and minoring in Management Information Systems and French. I was on the Dean's List both semesters last year. At school, I like to stay busy to cherish every moment I have in college :) I am on the Butler University Dance Team and also a sister of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I spend my summers lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons; I absolutely love working with the kids!

I was a indianapolis">tutor in high school through my school's library junior and senior year. I spent my lunch period 2-3 days a week helping students of all ages and abilities with whatever they needed. It was a great way to stay updated on my studies, get to know the students around school and make them feel more comfortable with their homework. I was also a student teacher for a prep math class my senior year of high school.

My approach to indianapolis">tutoring is to help the student look at their school work in a different way. I've realized that when the student understands the "why" behind answers, they become much more successful in that area. Knowing the answer isn't always the best way to learn; understanding why the answer is correct is much more applicable and useful in future problems.
