Fun Facts

I am passionate about athletics, and love running outdoors looking at the beautiful Colorado mountains. I was captain of the Colorado College swim team, and continue to swim for fun. In my free time you can find me reading--I love biographies, nonfiction and novels like The Time Traveler's Wife.

About Me

I am a May 2012 graduate of Colorado College with a degree in Economics. While at CC, I discovered my passion for medicine and am preparing for my MCAT. I wrote my Economics quantitative thesis on barriers to quality of care in the emergency room. Balancing pre-med courses and economics courses taught me organizational and time management skills, and I was so fortunate to be able to pursue both of my passions in undergrad.

In high school, I worked with my peers and elementary school students on reading comprehension skills, organization, and test preparation.
