Fun Facts
I'm a self-taught guitarist and harmonica player. I lived 10 minutes away from a national park this summer (2011 -- Saguaro National Park in Tucson, AZ). My favorite subject of study is math -- where the truly fun facts are!
About Me
I'm a student in the TCU Class of 2013, earning two degrees: one each in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. I'm the Academics Chair for Beta Upsilon Chi (Brothers Under Christ) Fraternity and enjoy bowling, choral singing, and learning. I'm a third generation Horned Frog, and the sixth in my family to go to Texas Christian University.
I began tutoring math in high school, when I provided math lessons for my cousin, who was studying middle school algebra.
In college, I began tutoring for the TCU athletics department, where I taught a variety of math and science subjects.
I've been tutoring with FrogTutors for a year now, and have met great success with all of my students!
My approach to tutoring is to ask many questions and to answer only few. When you are trained how to pose the right questions, you can always find the answers. My philosophy for all the sciences is that sound thinking is the key, not memorization!
