My name is Christopher but I used to go by Chris! I was born in Germany but raised in Texas. I can speak German and my favorite sport to play is soccer! I play as goalkeeper, which is one of the toughest positions to play.

About Me

I am currently a freshman at University of Texas at San Antonio. My major is Biology and my minor is in Child development. I want to attend the University of Texas in Austn after my first year. My goal is to become a Pediatrician or a math-middle-school/texas/san-antonio">middle school math teacher.

When I was a freshman in high school I was in the Professional Studies Academy and I was part of a group called Reading Buddies. We helped elementary students improve the reading level and comprehesion. Then as a senior I was in an internship class, which we went to elementary schools and middle schools to help the teachers in an area of our expertise. My expertise is math and I actually was the only one allowed to go to the middle school.

I got interested in school during my middle school years because of my teachers. I've learned that people learn in different ways, so in order for the student to grasp the information they should be taught the way that suits him or her. I learn through visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learning. Which will be most likely how i will teach but the main goal is for the child to understand what he is learning instead of just getting it done.
