About Me
My name is Corie Sanderson. I am a twenty-two year old junior at chicago">Loyola University Chicago. I am studying psychology and marketing. I am interested in a career in school psychology, counseling psychology, or business. I have a desire to improve the everyday lives of people I encounter, whether it is by a career in psychology, a part-time job in customer service, or by simply performing random acts of kindness.
Throughout my freshman year of college, I was a part-time nanny. I was responsible for supervising the children's daily activities as well as their school work. I helped the children, ages 7 - 12, complete their homework and class projects and study for tests and quizzes. I emphasized the importance of schoolwork, and ensured that their assignments were completed before "playtime."
Through my experience with these children, I developed my approach to chicago">tutoring. I found that the best way to work with these students was to ask questions. I asked questions to familiarize myself with their understanding of the material. I asked questions to lead these students to the answer. I asked questions to help them review what they had learned, and to help them apply their lessons to experiences they had in everyday life. I also learned that the best way to apply this chicago">tutoring approach, was to do so with enthusiasm. The more enthusiastic and positive I was with their schoolwork, the better the experience was for the students. I am excited to apply what I've learned to my career with Frog chicago">Tutoring. It is my desire to positively impact the lives of many students, and inspire them with my enthusiasm for school and learning.
