Fun Facts

Everyone who gets to know me will quickly learn my love of Hockey. Not only am I a huge Rangers fan, but I play as well. I've traveled to play in a few tournaments (despite only starting to play when I was in college), and I've even used Ice Hockey in Physics problems!

About Me

I am a first year graduate student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, earning my Masters' degree in Forensic Science. I am excited to have the opportunity to learn so many new techniques. My ultimate goal is to work as a Forensic Investigator for a municipal or governmental agency.

After graduating with a B.A. in Biology from maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-university">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia University, I decided to become a full-time science teacher at a small, independent, all-boys middle school. I taught Earth Science, Biology, Physics, and even spent a summer teaching Math, to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue to teach and help others while I am in school.

I firmly believe that with the correct approach, every student has the ability to succeed in school. While every approach requires some level of "hard work", "work harder" is never the only part of a solution. My goal is to understand where the student's problem originates, give he/she strategies on how to improve, and work to get them ahead of where they need to be.
