Fun Facts

My family moved around a lot, so I've never lived for longer than six years in the same place. I really enjoying doing things with my hands, so along the way I've picked up things like model-building, origami, and even balloon animals.

About Me

Over the course of my life I've lived in five different states and two different countries, so I've seen a lot of different schools and environments. I'm a recent graduate from the University of Chicago, and am now working in a lab at Brown University focusing on bat biomechanics, investigating how they fly. It helps that they're also really cute!

Experience

I tutored fellow high school students as part of my accelerated math and science program in high school, in addition to TAing for an AP World History course. I really enjoyed those experiences, so throughout college I continued to tutor on both the high school and collegiate level, as well as working in classrooms with preschool students. Frog Tutoring gives me an opportunity to continue to help students.

Approach

I was fortunate to have some excellent teachers in both middle and high school, and they tended to be the ones willing to devote individual attention to and get to know students both struggling and excelling. I strive to emulate them and really get to know the students I work with beyond just their academics, as every student is different and tutoring works best when tailored to the individual.
