Fun Facts

I love dancing and music. I love to go to Bollywood parties only for dancing. and music helps relieve stress. I love cooking for people too. My cooking might not be the best but when my hard work is appreciated i do feel happy. I love reading novels . I am the middle child in a total of 7 and being the middle kid becomes quite challenging. I am from India but born and brought up in Saudi Arabia and living in Houston for past 4 and half years.

About Me

I graduated from University of Houston-Downtown with a computer science degree in December 2015 and am actively looking for full time opportunities in the industry.

Experience

I was a Math Supplemental Instruction leader at the University of Houston-Downtown from January 2014 to January 2016. I have worked with all levels of Mathematics up to Calculus 2. I was also a mathematics tutor at the university from September 2012 to May 2015.
I have worked with the summer program, Houston PREP, for the last four years which involves working with high school and middle school students. The summer program focuses on STEM areas and is free for the students.

Approach

My approach to learn something is to understand it rather than memorizing it. I would understand the theory to be able to work on the problems.
As a tutor, i would be able to explain the students the problem step by step while understanding the theory behind.
