Fun Facts
One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love basketball! Any time I have a chance, you will find me playing or watching the sport. I am the middle child of three, and has just graduated with my B.S. in chemical engineering from Howard University.
About Me
I am a recent chemical engineering graduate from Howard University. I've been on the Dean's list for 2 years in a row and have graduated with Cum Laude Honors. I am currently working as a consultant for Accenture, and I am planning to return to back to pursue my Masters in Engineering.
Experience
As a member of TRUST (teach retain unite men in science and technology), I had the opportunity to mentor and tutor students in all math and science related subjects. We would also tutor high school kids in these same areas in order to increase their knowledge and grades in school. I am eager to begin working with students again because it makes me truly happy when I can help someone by giving back.
Approach
As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and demoralizing. In middle school, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
