Fun Facts

I am a runner and I love to cook. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my 2 sisters. My father is Spanish and while we don't speak Spanish at home, I decided to pursue Spanish as one of my majors and my semester studying abroad in Madrid was my favorite semester in college. I graduated from Vanderbilt University several years ago and worked in the advertising industry.

About Me

I have decided to go back to school and am taking the necessary science prerequisite classes at DePaul University in order to apply for a Master's in Nutrition and Dietetics. I am excited to be back in school and driven to pursue a career that I know I will enjoy. I believe my work experience has equipped me with tools to come back and be a successful student.

My past chicago">tutoring experience was also 1-on-1 chicago">tutoring. I worked with a high school student in both Spanish and Chemistry. We worked together in order for the student to understand fundamental concepts that could then be applied throughout the semester.

I believe it is important for students to master the fundamental concepts of each subject. This way, students can succeed in the subject when working by themselves. More than just completing homework and preparing for tests and quizzes, it is a goal of mine that students will take with them the material they have learned.
