Fun Facts
Something that I just recently found out about myself this summer was that I absolutely love water sports. I began whitewater rafting and kayaking as well as paddle boarding at the National Whitewater Center earlier this year and I've become addicted. I also enjoy hiking and biking down forest trails!
About Me
I currently attend Queens University of Charlotte where I major in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. After i graduate I have the hopes of becoming a trauma nurse, specifically a flight medic. I also found a passion in the field of psychology along my path through school.
Experience
My first official tutoring experience comes from my volunteer work at a title 1 elementary school where I tutor and mentor 3rd graders in order to help them catch up to their grade reading level. I've also made it into the Presbyterian School of Nursing, gaining much knowledge in the fields of natural sciences along the way. As a leader and mentor, I currently hold a position on my schools St. Jude Executive Board and I have 2 years experience as a Residential Assistant where I guide freshman.
Approach
I didn't realize how to effectively study and learn until after I began going to college. Through trial and error I began to understand my learning style as each semester my GPA steadily increased. I began to utilize my resource and now I have an understanding to the point that I am able to teach material to peers that I'm in the same classes with. I also take advantage of today's technology in such a way that learning isn't tedious, it's interesting and exciting.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I received an A in APII at college level and could do even better if I went back today. Every class that I take has roots in Anatomy and Physiology.
Biology Tutoring
As a health science major, Biology is like the alphabet to me. Teaching this subject in simple to understand ideas would be no problem at all.

As a Nursing Major/Psychology Minor, science is what I do. I've taken Chem, Anatomy, Psych, Sociology, Anthropology, Micro Biology, Nutrition and many more.

In my last Algebra course I received an A. After college level Algebra, going back to high school is nothing. Learning math is painstaking but if you know how to guide the person then it's only a matter of time before they can do it on their own.
Social Studies Tutoring
Social Sciences are easy to teach after taking Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, and Emergence of the West.
Microbiology Tutoring
As a health science major, microbiology is the basics of my courses. Although in my first semester of college I received a B in the class, I have a much better understanding of the subject. As far as tutoring goes, I have helped many classmate study for other classes in this field.
Nutrition Tutoring
I took Nutrition over a year ago and loved it. I received an A in the class and still help others when they have any questions about it.
Philosophy Tutoring
I recently just finished my senior level philosophy class with an A- and a 100% on the final. As a psychology minor, I hold a great deal of knowledge for philosophers as the two subjects were once the same.
Psychology Tutoring
Psychology is my favorite! As a Nursing major, I had no need of a minor but I chose psychology because I couldn't get enough of it. My minor GPA is a 3.54 and if you want to know the unusual theories if Freud or the brilliance of Vygotsky then I'm your guy.
