I love the game of football! I play at SJSU and I love to workout as well. I also enjoy reading, Netflix and video games on occasion.
About Me
I am a Redshirt Junior at SJSU, a business MIS major. And like I mentioned before I play football as well.
Experience
No experience tutoring children yet, I have helped my younger brother out with school work constantly. I have helped out in camps where I show younger kids and high school kids football techniques to use.
Approach
School always came fairly easy to me once I got into high school. I went to a tough high school known as Bellarmine, and it is there that I learned school isn't so much a breeze. I had to put in a lot of effort, time, and hard work to get where I am today. Now I'm in college, and college is easy for me as well. The work I put in earlier in life has helped me now.
I want to instill that same feeling into those that I tutor, make school easier for them and give them the knowledge I have.

Calculus I Tutoring
I've taken Calculus I in my undergrad and also Business Calculus as well. The first time is the harder one and I was able to pass with a C+ after getting a tutor. The next time around was a lot easier as I had a better teacher.
Study Skills Tutoring
For football they give us mandatory study hours. After having 8 hours they give you less and less once your GPA reaches over 3.0, I've been at there for a long time now. I learned a few things in those long study sessions.
Algebra Tutoring
Algebra is always being used even in Calculus, so I can still teach this subject as well. Even though it's been years since I've taken Algebra, I'll be able to teach it well since I'm in higher math.
Algebra II Tutoring
The same goes for Algebra II, with Calculus you use all you've learned in the previous classes. I also took this in high school and received an A+.
English Tutoring
In high school my teachers taught other students and I the qualities of a great essay. I took that to college with me where I write better than I did in high school. Our teachers were hard on us but in the long run it has helped.
Writing Tutoring
I've written a number of essays before and can help other kid's as they write theirs. The approach would be to let them do it all on their own, and proofread and make corrections. Then show them what they could do to make their writing stronger.
Math Tutoring
The basics of math I will teach here I assume, and I will employ the tips and tricks to finding out these answers. The tips will come in the multiplication and division areas, plus any fraction or decimal areas.
