Fun Facts
I love to play video games on my free time. The consoles that I play are GameCube, Wii, DS, and PlayStation. My favorite video game series is The Legend of Zelda. I was born in Cuba and came to Miami when I was five years old.
About Me
I am a freshman Biology major at Florida International University. I plan on continuing my education and going to medical school. My ultimate goal is to become an Obstetrician.
Experience
Throughout my cousins middle school years I have tutored her in any subject that she would have trouble with. For instance, I would help her with her algebra homework and assist her in correctly writing an essay paper.
Approach
Every student grasps information in different ways. The best technique to use would be to first figure out the type of learner the student is and from there teach in that manner. For instance, I for one am a visual and tactile learner. If I see a math problem written step by step on the board the chances of learning increase for me. As a tutor, I will figure out the type of way a student learns in order to teach effectively. Learning should not be a hassle.

Algebra Tutoring
I have taken a variety of Algebra courses. In both middle school and high school my final grade was an A. During high school I took a dual enrollment course called College Algebra received a B.
Biology Tutoring
In high school I took advanced placement Biology and passed the course with an A. I am also a Biology major so this topic is one that I am very knowledgeable about. In college I have passed all of my biology courses thus far.
English Tutoring
Throughout middle school and high school, I have received A's in my English courses. I write exceptionally good essays. In high school, I took advanced placement English and Literature; passing both classes with an A.
Math Tutoring
In high school I took Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Advanced Topics, and advanced placement Statistics. I received A's in all the mentioned courses.

I was born in Cuba and Spanish was my first language. I speak Spanish on a daily basis. In high school, I decided not to take the one year course of AP Spanish and instead I paid for the test. I passed the national test on my own with a 4 and received college credit.
Elementary Math Tutoring
In high school I took Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Advanced Topics, and advanced placement Statistics. I received A's in all the mentioned courses.
Microsoft Word Tutoring
I am very skilled in using Microsoft word. I have been using Microsoft Word ever since elementary school.
Psychology Tutoring
In Coral Reef Senior High School, I took advanced placement psychology. My final grade was an A. I also passed the AP exam with a 4.

Throughout middle school, high school, and college I have organized myself in a manner that I have time to do homework as well as study without procrastinating. As a homework coach, I will make sure the student is learning effectively and doing their homework completely
