Fun Facts
My passion is playing soccer and fishing. I have been involved in these sports at a very young age. I also enjoy playing video games and walking on the beach. I am 20 years old and i was born in Belize, Central America. I then moved to the United States at the age of 11 years in 2006.
About Me
I am a nursing Student at Florida International University in Miami,FL. I've been on the Dean's List for all my 3 years in college so far. When i graduate, i hope to find a job in the Intense Care Unit (ICU). My ultimate goal is to become a Certified and Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Experience
I had the opportunity to tutor many of my younger cousins and my younger brother throughout his middle school career. I always enjoyed teaching others because i remembered when i was at a point where i did not know a certain thing, and it really helped when i was being tutored.
Approach
When i was younger i struggled a little in school. I was fortunate enough to have my mother around who is an 8th grade reading teaching. She guided me to the write path in my education by tutoring me in various subjects and i eventually picked up some of the approaches she used. I believe that it is very important to build a healthy relationship with the student in order for them to learn, and to try and recognize their weaknesses and strengths.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I have taken anatomy and physiology in my senior year in high school and my sophomore year in college. I received the highest letter grade possible (A) in this course both in high school and college. This subject is one of my true strengths.
Geography Tutoring
I have taken geography both in high school and at the college level. I am very good with maps. I also know great techniques on how to study for geography.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I would say math is probably the topic i am more comfortable with. Every math related course i have received exceptional grades. Math is very involved in relation to my major because i need it to calculate medication dosages.
Study Skills Tutoring
Study skills are important for any student. From my passed experiences with tutors and interacting with teachers, i have consumed a handful of techniques and study tips that they have shown me on how to study for various subjects. Also, i have even learned to create my own study skills when I'm studying for certain subjects that i would be delighted to share.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I would say math is probably the topic i am more comfortable with. Every math related course i have received exceptional grades. Math is very involved in relation to my major because i need it to calculate medication dosages.

Pre Algebra Tutoring
I'v taken pre algebra both at the middle school and high school level. I received exceptional grades in this course. This is one of the topic that i helped tutored to my younger sibling and helped him improve his overall grade in the course.
Science Tutoring
Science related courses is another subject i am experience in because these courses are closely related to my major. I have received excellent grades in all of my science courses throughout my educational career so far.
