Fun Facts

My favorite hobby is fitness, but more specifically, running. I love running because it is like therapy to me. Running allows me to clear my mind of anything stressful and in my opinion it is symbolic for life itself. When I reach the point of my run where I'm having to push myself beyond my usual limit, I reflect on life and how we are placed in so many situations where we must push ourselves past our comfort zone and give that extra amount of effort. Running motivates me to be better.

About Me

I am a senior Business Administration major from Mobile, Alabama. My concentration is in Marketing, while my minor is in Sales. I have maintained a 3.0 cumulative grade point average since the beginning of my matriculation, starting at 3.50 and now preparing to graduate with a 3.16. I hope to serve as a Sales and Business Development Specialist at Oracle in Austin, Texas after graduation. I am currently in the final round of Oracle's interview process. My ultimate goal is to become a CMO.

Experience

As Vice President of the Morehouse Marketing Association and also as a senior student ambassador, I am given the opportunity to speak with many parents and prospective students about Morehouse College. Being able to communicate and brand myself with so many people is what I feel is my greatest strength. I'm also a huge advocate for mentorship, which is why I've served as a mentor at Charles Drew Charter School for almost a year. Seeing others learn and be inspired to learn is my genuine passion.

Approach

All throughout grade school, math was my most challenging subject. Despite all the mistakes I made from not fully understanding the concept, majority of my mistakes would come from not double checking my work. My teachers always called them "careless" mistakes. As I grew older, I learned what a difference paying attention to detail can make. This is the approach I look to take when tutoring. Paying attention to detail is a timeless skill that can make a monumental difference in the future.
