In my spare time I love going to the gym and playing video games.
About Me
I am a Mechanical Engineering major in my Junior year at Florida International University. Once I graduate with my Bachelors degree, I hope to secure a job and immediately begin work on my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
I have been tutoring Intermediate Algebra, as well as several other remedial math courses, at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus mathematics lab. Even before working here however, I have always been motivated and eager to help my friends with any Math or Physics related questions they had outside of class.
Approach
I find that my students learn best when I explain my thought process through an example question, then allow them to practice independently so that the concept sticks. This is the way that I learn, but if I see that a student is not understanding it taught in that way, I am easy to adapt to a tutoring strategy more appropriate for that student. At the end of the day, every student learns a different way.

Trigonometry Tutoring
Have taken the course at the College level and passed with an A. Trigonometry is a core requirement in my subject of study, Mechanical Engineering. As a result, I am well versed in Trigonometry and know the ins and the outs of the subject.

My father is a computer programmer, so I have been exposed to programming all my life. Mechanical Engineers must also understanding how to program to a certain degree, and I have taken several programming courses to ensure I understand the subject.
