Fun Facts
I grew up in New Jersey and lived there for most of my life until 2012 when we moved here to Georgia. Growing up, I was a huge space nerd and it's now grown into a passion for astronomy that leaves me in awe. I also love to draw and paint whenever I have free time. I've traveled out of the country several times and hope to continue on many more adventures in the future.
About Me
I'm currently an honors student at Georgia Gwinnett College with a 3.8 GPA. I'm a senior majoring in Biology; after graduating, I hope to continue my education in medical school and eventually become a an emergency pediatric physician. I've been a volunteer at Gwinnett Medical Center for two years and truly enjoy my time observing, learning, and helping anyone that requires help.
Experience
I'm currently a Peer Supplemental Instruction Leader at GGC. I was chosen because of my experience helping other students in my classes. As a PSI Leader, we not only tutor but also encourage and facilitate student study groups that engage them in active learning strategies. We understand that not every student learns the same way and therefore not every student studies the same way. That's why we implement various techniques for student success. I hope to also help students here succeed as well!
Approach
In my experience, students have unique learning and studying strengths. In my tutoring approach, I will assess these strengths, incorporate them to any weaknesses, and help the student maintain the skills in other subjects. Active learning strategies are essential and help the students find the best way to study a wide array of subjects visually, orally, or hand-on. I will positively encourage every student to build on their strengths and improve on their weaknesses.

Biology
Biology I Tutoring
I've successfully taken Biology I and received a high A in the class. My experience with tutoring it involves helping high school and college students.
Biology II Tutoring
Successfully completed biology II with A+. I've helped many students with the topics as well as become advanced because of higher level classes.
Chemistry I Tutoring
Successfully completed Chemistry I with A+. I also am a PSI leader in this subject and can tutor students very well on topics covered in this course.
Microbiology Tutoring
Successfully completed microbiology with an A. It's the subject I'm most interested in and have helped many classmates with, therefore I believe I'm qualified.

Because AP chemistry covers the same topics as in college-level chemistry, I think I'm highly qualified to tutor in this subject. I've successfully passed the college-level courses in chemistry therefore, I can proficiently aid students at the high school level.

I've always excelled at Geography and was a participant in a Middle School Geography Bee. I'm an avid traveler and know many friends and classmates from all over the world, therefore I believe I'm qualified at tutoring high school geography

I'm a biology major in college, thus science has been a part of my academic career since I took interest in it in elementary school. Now a soon-to-be college graduate in the field, I'm very qualified to tutor in science.

I've tutored my brother throughout middle school and one subject he always perform "above average" in was math. Middle school math sets the foundations for more advanced math classes. I feel that with my experience of being a college student who has taken many math courses, I will help students succeed in their math courses as well.
