About Me
I am currently a junior at Florida International University’s Honors College with a major in Biological Sciences aspiring to pursue a medical degree. I have been on the Dean's List at Miami Dade College. I was awarded the American Dream Scholarship at Miami Dade College.
Experience
I volunteered as a peer instructor, teacher assistant and tutor at Milam Elementary All-Star After School Program working with students to enhance learning process and facilitate student participation and success. I had the opportunity of tutoring students bi-weekly by helping them with their homework and schoolwork assignments. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the great opportunity of interacting with students to make learning fun!
Approach
I have always had a passion for teaching. I understand the importance of tutoring students at a young age to ensure future success in College and their professional careers. My hopes are that as a tutor I can help enhance students' learning and study skills by working closely with them and implementing a positive attitude towards school work.
