Fun Facts
In my free time, I'm usually found singing, playing piano, playing guitar, knitting, pretending to be good at Pinterest projects or playing golf. I love baking and do some programming and web development in my free time as well! Also, I used to be a competitive jump roper so I love unconventional sports!
About Me
I am currently a first year Marketing and Information Systems double major and Information Technology minor at the University of Cincinnati. I am currently working to launch my own technology start up and hope to use the skills I gather from college to build that company after graduation. I love learning new things and am always trying to be the best I can be.
Experience
I worked as a teaching assistant at Metro Middle School through the Humanitarian Engineering Scholars program I was in during the fall of 2015 and gained a lot of useful teaching and instruction skills through that experience! I also have participated in a theater program every summer through my church since I was in the second grade that throughout my high school years allowed me to work closely with students of every grade from kindergarten to high school.
Approach
I have ADHD, and throughout my grade school and high school career really struggled to find enjoyable ways to learn with it. Along the way I gathered a huge skill set of techniques to keep studying and homework from becoming too boring or monotonous. As a tutor, I use these different ways of studying to find exactly what makes each student respond to the material and help guide them through finding their own personal productive studying methods just like I did!
