I have had the pleasure to be on a crew for the pilot of the Sailor's Delight balloon and we get to be a part of the Balloon Glow in Forest Park!

I graduated with my undergraduate degree in three years.

I have run in 2 half marathons.

I don't like wearing socks or shoes, I love flip flop weather!

About Me

My overall goal is to become a math instructor at the college level. I finished my Masters in Mathematics in May 2012 and I currently teach a few classes at SLU. I plan to pursue my PhD in Education and I will hopefully finish in May 2016.

In the past I have had students who are struggling with basic math who are finally starting to understand the basics. I've also had students in the upper level classes who just need help on certain problems. In any experience we always get to a positive outcome when we work together to get to the same outcome!

My approach varies student to student. I like to sit down with the student and see how they may start a problem. If a student doesn't know how to get started or doesn't get comfortable then we start together and do every step with each other! We're a team while I'm tutoring and whatever the student needs to feel the most comfortable that's what we'll do!
