Fun Facts
One passion I have is MOVIES. I would love to one day direct and fu,fill by dream of bringing an idea to life. I am the oldest of three and both my younger brother and I went to UMBC while my sister graduated from College Park. Someday, I hope to permanently move to California and attend film school.
About Me
I am a recent graduate of Universtiy of Maryland, Baltimore County. I have a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communications/Political Science. I hope to get a job in television or film but also might get my masters degree.
Experience
In the summer of 2013, I went to San Francisco, California to work with children and adults with learning and phyiscal disabilities. I would help them with activities such as art and reading. I enjoyed helping them achieve their daily goals and watching them expand their mind and talent.
Approach
As a tutor, I want to be able to help with children understand subjects they struggle in on one on one basis and become successful. Since students have different learning approaches, i want to be able to let students who might be struggling in a classroom setting have better chances in being successful at their studies.

English 393 - Technical Writing - learn how to accommodate information to specific audiences; how to use stylistic and visual devices to make information more accessible; and how to edit own work as well as that of peers. Learned the differences between posing (and answering) a scholarly question and a workplace one, and in the process, acquire both primary and secondary professional research skills, while gaining practice polishing the type of documents they’ll be producing during their professional careers.
Arts Tutoring
While a counselor in California in the summer of 2013, I was heavily involved in arts and crafts and spent the entire time taking part in painting, crafting and drawing sessions.
Homework Coach Tutoring
Although not having taken courses on homework coaching, I always tutored my younger sibling who chose to attend the same college as me years later. I have served as a summer counselor at a church and California helping young children and would love to continue that.

I worked as an administrative assistant for 4 years and was an English Major for a while so I was always writing essays. As a media and communication major, 90% of the assignments required research paper written in Microsoft word.
