Approach
I started learning English in fifth grade, when I was 10 years old. My English as a Second Language teacher was not only extremely patient with me but also employed a multitude of educational approaches. These various methods helped me understand which kind of approach best suited my learning style and I gained confidence knowing that each student learns differently. I believe my experience with ESL will help me become a more patient, forgiving, and encouraging tutor.

I am a second year Political Science student. Courses I have taken include foreign governments, the american political system, and I am currently studying an intro to political philosophy, international politics, as well as local government and community advocacy. I am also involved in political organizations on my campus.
AP English Tutoring
I took AP Language and Composition during my senior year of high school and received an A in the class. Since I am passionate about reading, writing, rational argumentation and literature analysis, English is one of my favorite subjects to study as well as teach to others. Being in the College of Liberal Arts, pursuing a Political Science degree, I also know how to write, which is crucial to AP English.
