Fun Facts
I was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in the north side of Chicago. I am fluent in Spanish and English. I enjoy watching and playing soccer and tennis although I am not very good at either of them. I love learning new things. I am taking a golf class this summer which I am very excited about. I am the youngest and only girl of three. You can always find me singing and dancing and I love to make people laugh.
About Me
I am a senior at Northeastern Illinois University. I am studying Math and Science Middle School Education. I hope to earn my Masters in Special Education one day. I am currently working as an Instructional Aide in a school in Skokie.
Experience
I have always loved teaching and helping others which is why I decided to major in education. I have also volunteered for Junior Achievement and have done many service hours tutoring in various schools in Chicago.
Approach
Growing up, I always struggled with math classes. My senior year in high school I had a teacher that helped me learn everything I didn't learn about math in the previous years. Her way of teaching was simple, positive, and understanding. She knew what it felt like to struggle in school which made her the best teacher I've ever had. As a future teacher and tutor, I know what it is like to not understand every subject and I know that having extra help can help you be successful in any subject!

Homework Coach Tutoring
I currently work in a middle school and help students one on one with all of their homework. I am familiar with middle school material and can help students with their homework.
