I absolutely love music of almost any kind (except for some country, rap, and metal). I'm a member of John Carroll's Ultimate Frisbee club team. Reading and writing are two of my favorite hobbies. I know, it's hard to believe that when I'm an English major.

About Me

I am a junior at carroll-university">John carroll-university">Carroll University, hailing from buffalo">Buffalo, New York. I am an English Literature major and a Spanish minor. I am also interning at WKYC-TV this semester.

Now that I think about it, I have actually had a lot of experience as a cleveland">tutor. I tutored at Canisius High School during my senior year for the National Honor Society. Even though it was only a couple of hours during the week, it was really rewarding to see students leave with a bit more determination to study than they came in with. Last spring, I tutored at Saint Martin de Porres High School through John Carroll's Center for Service and Social Action.

I always try to be flexible and encouraging when I am cleveland">tutoring. What worked for one student or me may not work for someone else. Also, the educational experience of different students are widely varied. I would say the most important thing about my cleveland">tutoring style is that I don't want to make students feel like I'm there to force them to do their work. I want to be both a cleveland">tutor and a mentor.
