Fun Facts

A great passion that I have is reading old literature. Shakespeare is one of my favorite authors along with many others. If I am not reading I am painting. I love to paint flowers using bright and beautiful colors. Another thing I enjoy is softball. I played for about 12 years and loved being apart of a team. I have always loved music and hope to learn how to play the ukulele.

About Me

I graduated from UT High School making great grades. I have attended Weatherford College to start to get a degree in education.

Experience

I was previously a nanny to a seven year old boy for almost a year and a daily thing we did was schooling I was in charge of working on many subjects with him each day. I have been a tutor and a nanny for about 7 years. I have always loved tutoring and helping others learn and this would be a great opportunity for me to do that.

Approach

I found school to be boring and repetitive. I want to take on an approach that the other person would enjoy so that learning could be something that they enjoy. As a tutor, I would love to bring a positive attitude and encouragement. I find that it is easier as a tutor to teach the student with patience and an uplifting attitude so they do not get discouraged. I feel it is my responsibility to help them succeed but also to do it in a way they would enjoy and have fun with.
