Fun Facts

I hate to be bored, and so love staying busy. I love to paint. Having a brush in my hand is very powerful. I also enjoy reading for pleasure. I recently got into rock climbing and so do that as much as my schedule allows. I am the middle of 4 girls. I am originally from Los Angeles but I truly consider Portland my home.

About Me

I am a sophomore nursing student at the portland">University of Portland. I have been on the Dean's list for the past 2 semesters and plan on staying there. After I graduate I would like to start working as an RN in a hospital setting, preferably a cardiothoracic surgery unit. I plan on returning to school after a few years of work to become a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant.

I was a member of the National Honor Society in high school and tutored my peers once a week. I am also a seasoned babysitter and part of my job description is to be a portland">tutor. I have been babysitting and portland">tutoring for the past 8 years. I also work every summer as a camp supervisor and so I am very good with children. I love interacting with others and helping to make a difference.

I believe in open communication. I hope to build a strong relationship with each student with solid communication so as to fully understand one another and get the most out of the experience. I want to help students learn the study skills and habits that will benefit them throughout their academics so as to reach their full potential.
