Fun Facts

I am an Indian classically trained dancer and have been dancing since I was four years old. Currently, I am on a Bollywood dance team at Saint Louis University, and previously, I was on another Indian dance team at my school that has nationally competed. Another fun fact about me is that I have been a vegetarian my whole life, and my favorite foods are Indian, Mexican, and Thai.

About Me

I am from a small town in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I currently attend Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, where I am a medical scholar and am studying biology as my major. I plan to attend Saint Louis University's medical school and hopefully become a doctor one day.

My experience in tutoring stems from tutoring my peers in math/science/writing in high school and working as a tutor at Kumon near my hometown. At my high school, I helped tutor students struggling in Geometry, Chemistry, and writing English and College papers. At Kumon, I aided my students in working through their math and reading packets and understanding basic, math-elementary/missouri/st.-louis">elementary math concepts.

My tutoring approach branches from the way a view education. My parents have always taught me education is a priority. Education not only allows one to grow and prosper, but it also helps one stay competitive within society. Any resource that helps progress or improve a student's education is only beneficial to him or her. Thus, tutoring is very critical to every student, whether or not he or she is struggling. Tutoring improves grades and builds a student's confidence. When I was younger, I was fortunate to have tutors to help me get ahead in school. The relationship I built with my tutors not only helped me do well in school, but they also helped me grow as a person and be confident in anything I did, whether it was taking a test, presenting a project, or dancing on stage. Therefore, from my own tutoring experiences, my approach to tutoring is simple: to help students understand difficult concepts, master those concepts, be one step ahead in the classroom, and build a long-lasting relationship that helps the student become a well-rounded student.
