Fun Facts
I grew up in Alaska and LOVE the outdoors and any new adventure. I love hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, and just being outside. I also love traveling, trying new things, and learning about other cultures. At home I enjoy playing the piano and love to bake!
About Me
I spent my entire college career at Texas A&M University and graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree.
Experience
In high school and college I tutored many of my friends. I also was involved in a program during high school to help elementary students prepare for exams. Since I graduated college I tutored my high school brother and some of his friends. I also tutored clients for a friend when she was unable to. I really enjoyed it and would like the opportunity to tutor clients for myself.
Approach
Throughout all my schooling I excelled, but it was never because I was just naturally smart. I consider myself very intelligent but there were many students who naturally understood some of the concepts better and quicker than me. I excelled in school because I worked very hard and knew how to teach myself the necessary information. This is why I was very good at teaching others in subjects I struggled through. I am able to break down complicated subjects into easier to understand concepts.
