Fun Facts

I played the cello from sixth grade until twelfth grade. I did not like it at first but it grew on me and I enjoy listening to classical music to this day. I also won the geography bee in sixth grade and I still consider it to be one of my greatest life accomplishments.

About Me

I am a fun and easy going person and can find a positive out of almost any situation. When it comes to academics I consider my self a perfectionist because I can't stop learning until I feel like I have perfectly mastered what I am studying. I also believe that we are all capable of doing whatever we set our minds to and with enough hard work and dedication we can our aspirations come true.

For the past year I have been a volunteer maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor at a program at my university where we maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor middle school and high school kids in the STEM subjects which are science, math, and technology. I also maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor college students as part of my honor society in engineering and math. I really enjoy maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring and the satisfaction I get from knowing that I helped someone reach their goal or become a better student.

My approach when it comes to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring is to show the student an example of how it's done and then help work through examples until they are comfortable with the subject. I believe repetition is the key to learning and by doing numerous examples the concepts become ingrained in the student's head and become second nature. I have used this method many times and it has proven to be successful for me.
