Fun Facts
My absolute favorite thing to do in my free time is reading! I love all genres, but my favorite is definitely science-fiction. I also play the piano and the flute. Although I do not play any sports professionally, I still like getting active with my friends, especially through swimming.
About Me
During high school, I attended Harmony School of Nature, where I was valedictorian. Afterwards, I attended the University of Dallas, where I have just finished my freshman year, and I made the Dean’s List in this time. I am pursuing a major in Biology and a minor in Philosophy, and I plan to continue my studies after obtaining my undergraduate degree in medical school. There, I plan to learn the skills required to become a pediatric doctor.
Experience
I was a teacher’s assistant at my church’s Sunday school for two years. There, I taught a variety of grade levels, ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. This experience developed and refined my tutoring and communication skills.
Approach
Growing up, I definitely did not excel in all subjects, and I always found it so frustrating when I could not grasp a concept. However, instead of giving up, I realized that there were other methods of learning that would better suit me. Therefore, I intend to bring this ideology with me as I tutor students. I will cater to their needs, whether they are a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner, or even a combination of the three.
