I enjoy following the NBA and NFL. I have lived in 8 different states. I have five sisters, and I am the second oldest.
About Me
I am a graduate student at George Washington University in DC pursuing my Doctorate in economics. I am interested in the areas of public and development economics. Upon completing the program I a hope to have a career at a world organization or at a policy think tank.
Experience
I have five years of professional work experience in public accounting and economic consulting. During this time I realized my passion for economics, and economic research which is why I am pursuing my PhD. I have been working as a tutor for over 2 years. I have worked with students in high school, college, as well as professionals pursuing industry certifications. The subjects I have worked in include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, as well as the CFA and CPA curriculum
Approach
I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach students the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes. I find I am capable of identifying the student's struggles, and explore many approaches so that the concepts and theories come easy to the student.
