Fun Facts
I'm a very laid back person and easy going. My mother is a school principal and was a teacher. I played baseball and basketball during high school and like to play the piano.
About Me
I am a senior at the University of Oklahoma doing biomedical engineering. I plan on attending graduate school to achieve a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering. I do Bio micro electrical mechanical systems (Bio MEMS) research using atomic force microscopes to study tensile forces between chromosomes in a cell during cell division.
Experience
I have lots of experience in almost all math and science subjects. Since I grew up with a teacher for a mom, I have good experience at tutoring and helping people to learn material they may find difficult to understand.
Approach
I have great skill at understanding and finding the easiest way to approach problems. I can help students think in a simpler term to solve more complex problems and understand the methodology behind what they are doing. I have good tips at ways to memorize certain procedures needed to solve problems. Lastly I have a lot of patience and will be dedicated to the student until he or she learns the material.

Calculus I Tutoring
I took calculus I in high school and then passed the AP test. In college I have completed calculus I, II, III, and IV along with differential equations, making high grades in all of them. These classes have only furthered my calculus knowledge and I apply them all the time to my other engineering classes. I understand the basic calculus I concepts quite well and would love to help a student to learn and improve in this course.
Calculus 2 Tutoring
I have taken all of calculus and differential equations while in college. Calculus II is often tricky and difficult to students, but I I believe my methods and tutoring ability will be able to help one understand how to solve integrals and understand the concepts behind them.
ACT Math Tutoring
When I took the ACT in high school I usually did quite well in the math section. My scores in the math section ranged from 33-36 which helped contribute to my composite score of a 34. I helped my friends prepare for the ACT in high school and saw first hand their scores improve.
ACT Science Tutoring
I scored a 35 in the science section on the ACT. However the time before that I only scored a 25. With my studying methods I improved 10 points between tests. I would be happy to help students prepare for the ACT similarly to how I did to help improve their scores.
