About Me

I am a children's book author, but in between publishing a new book I am charlotte">tutoring children.

Experience

I graduated from Winston-salem-state-university">Salem State University with a BA in Business Management. I worked for a mutual fund company for several years before I wrote and published my first children's book.Before I became a private charlotte">tutor, I tutored for Sylvan Learning Center for 9 years. When I am not writing another children's book, I am surely in a library in my community, charlotte">tutoring children.

Approach

I am an individual with a great deal of patience. I believe my patience accompanied with creativity are essential assets to my teaching approach. I focus mainly on building a strong foundation in vocabulary, reading-comprehension/north-carolina/charlotte">reading comprehension, and grammar. With encouragement and persistence, I aim to help children unlock their hidden abilities.
