Fun Facts

Growing up in Colorado I of couse love to be outside especialy in the winter months when I can go skiing. I also enjoy reading books and sharing a love of literature with those around me. I also enjoy volentering in my community with children and animals.

About Me

I am a graduate mechanical engineering student from the University of Colorado in springs">Colorado Springs. I now work two jobs as an administrative assistant and personal assistant for two companies to help fund my master's degree from the University of Colorado. When I complete my master's degree I hope to get a job as a design engineer for mechanical systems.

Experience

While in high school I spent a year as a general education denver">tutor and mentor to middle school students. Now I spend my Saturday mornings volenteering at the Pikes Peak Public Library as a math denver">tutor. I also have experience with scheduling and client interaction from my job as an administrative assistant.

Approach

As a young child I found learning in a classroom to be almost impossible. What really helped me was the one on one denver">tutoring programs offered by my schols. Through interaction with my denver">tutors I was eventually able to discover a love of learning. I believe in the same approach for my students. By having someone there to work at the student's pace and show them not just how to do a problem but to approach problem solving is the quickest way to learn.
