Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I am a huge lover of space! This is probably where my deep love of science fiction comes from. Another hobby of mine is baking. I really enjoy all aspects and my current "craze" is donuts.

About Me

I'm a senior at Florida International Univerity studying Early Childhood Education. I am a wife to a firefighter and mom to a very active 1 year old. I hope to start teaching next year after I graduate. I do want to continue my schooling to get my Masters in Education as well. I can't wait to have my own classroom!

Experience

While I don't have experience in miami">tutoring, I worked for a short time as a paraprofessional, which gave me the opportunity to work with students in a variety of grades and subjects.

Approach

My entire career as a student I found that each teacher didn't focus much on the different ways that student learn. As a miami">tutor, I'll make sure to focus on the way the student learns to best help them grasp the material. As the daughter of a former teacher, I got to see the way my father used hands on approach to learning and I saw that students really benefit from that kind of learning style. I hope to use this in my miami">tutoring.
