About Me

I'm a highly motivated and experienced tutor with a strong background in providing professional tutoring services to students with diverse background and learning disabilities. I have the ability to exceed your expectations, I'm confident that my strong love and desire to help students succeed and achieve their goals , which will go a long way to providing high quality services to each student. My positive attitude and passion to assist struggling learners make me an excellent tutor.

Experience

I've worked in several positions with PGCPS system throughout the county as an substitute teacher, paraprofessional and a dedicated aid. I have more than ten year in working in Special Education and also working with children with learning disabilities. I've developed and have an excellent knowledge of providing customized tutoring services to students. I work with students, parents and teachers in order to find out a students weakness and aspiration in order to properly assess each student.

Approach

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. My teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real world examples wherever possible. I start with topics and subjects from which the students are most comfortable, and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually.
