Fun Facts
I love to cook! Anytime I make a new friend, the first thing I enjoy to do is cook their favorite meal. I also love to travel! I try to take at least one trip every two months. My ultimate dream trip would be to travel across the country over the course of two weeks in a RV.
About Me
I am a Doctor of Strategic Leadership and the CEO of Next Level, a global business management company. For my dissertation, I developed a youth leadership development curriculum and realized how much I missed working with students. I am passionate about youth development and excellence in education. I earned an undergraduate academic scholarship and graduated with a 3.6, a 3.78 for Master’s, and a 4.0 for Doctorate. I have been inducted into Golden Key and Kappa Alpha Mu Honor Society.
Experience
In high school, I started a mentor program as Class President allowing high school juniors and seniors to volunteer with the neighboring elementary school and serve as tutors. In college, I joined a similar campus organization giving me the opportunity to gain more tutoring experience. In addition, I have been an elementary school teaching assistant. In this role, I taught the class as well as assisted students with their work. Most recently I taught SAT/ACT Prep in a high school PT.
Approach
I am passionate about learning and youth development. I strongly believe learning should be fun and if students enjoy it their chances of success increase. Personally, I love learning and I know it has greatly contributed to my consistent educational success. As a tutor, I attempt to bring an uplifting, energetic attitude to my sessions. I feel it is my responsibility to make the learning experience an enjoyable one, rather that be creating songs and/ or games for the information to stick!

I attended a school of the arts in elementary and I have been studying all aspects of arts since I was a child. I have a degree in theater. I have taken dozens of acting, music, and dance classes gaining skills in not only performance but other things such as script analysis and writing as well.
