Fun Facts

I am obsessed with all things Disney and Disney World is my favorite place on Earth. I love all animals, especially my dogs and pet hedgehog. My current goal is to learn American Sign Language before I graduate from college.

About Me

I am a junior education/north-carolina/charlotte">Special Education major at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have a 3.77 GPA and have been on the Dean's list since I got to college. When I graduate I plan on earning my Masters in Autism Studies and to open my own school in a different country.

Experience

I have volunteered for several organizations for the past 6 years such as Miracle League, Special Olympics and Camp SOAR. Recently I went on a Study Abroad trip where I got to teach in schools in South Africa. I got to learn a lot of different teaching methods that i couldn't have learned anywhere else!

Approach

I enjoy being a charlotte">tutor because I get to modify lessons to fit the student's personal learning style. The student's perception for their education is very important to their success and I want to have the most positive influence on them to give them the best chance for success in the classroom.
