I am passionate about helping people achieve their potential, it makes me happy. I play guitar and sing in a band. I also love to dance. I like to make jewelry. My home town is Berkeley and I speak four languages.
About Me
I'm a senior at UC Berkeley majoring in Hispanic Languages and Bilingual Issues. I love to travel. I would like to go to Portugal or Italy and teach English there before returning here to teach Spanish and French
Experience
I have been berkeley">tutoring kids and adults for about three years. I worked for Community College foundation and I also berkeley">tutor privately. Subjects I berkeley">tutor include French, Spanish, English, Arithmetic, Language Arts, Music Theory,Ukulele and Guitar.
Approach
I take time to listen to and observe each student so I can understand how to be an effective berkeley">tutor As a child, I always wanted to help the teacher explain when a fellow student was having trouble understanding the subject. By the time I was twelve I realized that learning is optimized when the learning style of each student is taken into account. I like to keep learning fun.
