Fun Facts

Coming from a creative family, I have always had a love of the arts. Being an aspiring artist and writer, I can always be found doodling or writing short stories. If I'm not drawing I also enjoy trying out new backing recipes or solving different types of puzzles.

About Me

I am a sophomore science/illinois/chicago">Computer Science major at Olive-Harvey College in Chicago, IL. I am currently the Vice President of the most active club on campus as well as a honorary member of the Student Government Association. My hopes are to attain a Bachelors in Computer Animation at maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">columbia-university">maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia University. My goal is to have a career at a major animation studio.

Experience

I began voluntarily chicago">tutoring in Middle School to classmates and elementary student in my neighborhood in Math and Science. I continued to volunteer time after school in high school to chicago">tutor classmates in Science,Math, and Economics through my sophomore and junior year. After obtaining my GED, I tutored GED students in Math, Science, and Social Studies through the club I am currently a part of.

Approach

In elementary and middle school I found I retained more from the teachers who took a unique way to teach material instead of the common way most other used. Their methods are what influences my chicago">tutoring approach. I believe student can achieve success by learning material in a way that is unique to them and their needs instead of usual generic approach.
