Fun Facts

One thing most people think is crazy when they find out, is that I graduated high school in a class of 12...10 girls and 2 boys! My entire school, kindergarten through 12th grade had less than 400 people in it! Some high school grades have more people than my entire school did!
Also, one of my passions is playing tennis. I am not amazing at it, but I love watching the US open, and I keep rackets and balls in my car at all times in case anyone wants to randomly play!

About Me

I am a Junior at Texas Christian University. My major is child development and my minor is nutrition. I plan on attending graduate school and focusing on counseling or therapy.

I previously worked as a tutor/mentor with Group Excellence. I worked at Fort Worth middle schools, primarily focusing on math, but overall working on all subjects. Our goal at Group Excellence was to raise TAKS test scores. My personal goal in tutoring is to develop deep relationships with the students. I am excited to be working with Frog Tutoring so that I can not only help children academically, but also in any other mentoring ways that I can.

The first thing I do before beginning a tutor/student relationship is figure out how the student learns best. It may be visual, aural, or by simply working out problems on their own. Once I have this information then I can shape my tutoring sessions to provide information in ways the student can learn as easy as possible.
