Fun Facts
One fact that most people learn quickly about me is that I LOVE to travel - within the country, outside the country - it doesn't matter where! Besides traveling, I also enjoy reading and writing terrible poetry. I dream of starting a lifestyle blog in the near future, with mostly recipes on it!
About Me
I am currently a junior majoring in English with a minor in Biology and Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. I hope to take my MCATs within the next year and then continue on to medical school after I complete my senior year. My ultimate goal is to become a pediatrician.
Experience
As a member of National Honor Society, BAPS Charities, and Spanish Honor Society, I had the opportunity to mentor and tutor fellow students in multiple subjects all throughout my high school years. During senior year of high school, I started to tutor professionally, and I haven't looked back since then! I also volunteer at a local school in Richmond, helping to mentor one child once a week. Working for Frog Tutoring would allow me to connect with a wider network of students who may need help!
Approach
For the first three years of elementary school, I was always behind on lessons. With the persistence of my parents and a great librarian, I was able to move ahead, soon surpassing all the children in my class. I never looked back after that. After graduating as salutatorian of my high school class, I decided I wanted to go back and help children who need that extra push in order to reach their full potential. Apart from just subject matter, students must learn how to manage their time.

Throughout my junior and senior years of high school, I was fortunate enough to take IB English. I received a 6 out of 7 on the International Baccalaureate English Exam. Throughout college my major has been English, and I have taken 24 credits worth of English up till today. These credits include formal writing, fiction writing, literature courses, and feminist theory and criticism. I am currently enrolled in two 400 level English courses.
